moultrie middle school

The middle school project involved the design of a ten-acre site and a 120,000 SF state-of-the-art facility to support modern curriculum and teaching methodologies. The school was designed to accommodate a core student population of 1,200, with an initial phase built for 900 students. The facility included classrooms, science labs, administrative and guidance offices, a gymnasium, media center, cafeteria, kitchen, band area, and art rooms. As the first major project in the Coleman Boulevard Revitalization District, the design underwent extensive review by design review boards and government agencies in the Town of Mount Pleasant to ensure alignment with community development goals. In 2018 GBA was hired again by CCSD to complete the 19,000 sf addition blending it into the original architecture and bringing the student count to 1,200.
