Coastal Suds Laundry facility

The project entails the new construction of a 3,200 sqft laundromat at 3878 Ladson Rd in Summerville, SC. The laundry’s design is inspired by traditional Lowcountry architecture. The building’s façade consists of a brick base below board & batten siding. A standing-seam metal gable roof extends out over storefront windows framed by wood brackets. Structurally independent canopies with exposed wood framing members shade the building’s entry and side elevations. Medallion signs hang above the entry and on the elevation facing Ladson road.
