GBA delivered a two-phase, 6,000 SF interior upfit for Beemok Hospitality, reimagining first-floor office space across two distinct downtown Charleston properties — 152 Market Street and the historic Riviera Theatre building. The project fully reworked both floor plans to consolidate Beemok's growing administrative team into a cohesive, modern workplace.
Each space was designed with a contemporary aesthetic anchored by glass storefront partition systems, bringing daylight and transparency into private offices while preserving open sightlines across the workspace. The program includes private offices, open workstation areas, a conference room, and dedicated break/lounge areas — balancing focused work with collaborative and informal space.
Working within the Riviera Theatre's historic shell required careful coordination between new construction elements and the building's existing character, a hallmark of GBA's approach to adaptive reuse within Charleston's historic core.
